Brief

Min t is a musician and a Berklee Alumni.
When we met, she was releasing an album independantly.
11 tracks in a few weeks and a lot to do.
She wanted to have some captivating visuals for her the album release concert.

Approach

We sat in the studio and listened to the whole album together. I took note of everything I felt and asked Min t to describe her vision for the album and portray a few visual cues for each track. Then I introduce some of my visual patches and ideas I had which I felt would be a good fit for some of the tracks. We decided to make a Pinterest board to exchange ideas.
I sat with my notes, and built visual representations for each track, from journey into space, to mermaid skin, body of water and confetti.

Showdown

Once I had a patch for every track, I sent a draft to Min t, we discussed the colors and the theme. I finalized the patches, we jammed together twice, and after a week of hard work, it was time to perform live.
