Brief

Najwa and Bisaan are releasing an album together, and they were looking for cover album art that resonates with their message and their craft.

Approach

I listened to the album for a whole day, absorbing the techniques and understanding the message. The music is built upon progressive loops, and the message is escaping the cycle before the world ends.
I wanted to replicate all of that with transformation, repetition, and breaks to create a shared language.

What came out

A discovery of cycles, patterns, progression and eventually the break from the cycle.
